LUX Custom Process
1. Submit your Custom Form
First, please fill out the Custom Form below this page, which will give me a good idea of what your expectations are for your Lux Diamonds custom piece.
2. Wait for my response
Once I receive your form, I’ll respond by email with next steps- this may include details, review available stones, or answering any questions you’ve included.
3. Set up a Virtual appointment
Once I have a full scope of what your needs are, we will set up a virtual appointment to go over the stones and design of your Lux Custom jewelry.
4. Sign Custom Form
Once we agree on all aspects of your new custom jewelry, I require that you sign the details and policy in regard to LUX Diamonds requirements for custom.
5. Make Deposit
- I will send a link for payment of $500 of the custom jewelry Lux Diamonds will create for you.
- I will create a CAD and a Render video of your LUX Diamonds custom design.
- I will change this design up to 2 times at No Charge to you.
- I usually provide CAD and Renders within 48 hours (business hours are Monday thru Friday).
6. Approval of Design and Down Payment
Once we have agreed the design is perfect, I will send you a link for 50% or more deposit for the project. The percentage depends on the actual custom piece. Some items will require 100% payment up front.
7. Final Payment & Virtual consultation for delivery
I will send a final payment link, if there is a balance than set a Virtual meeting to insure everything is done to your expectations based on your design.
8. Shipping
I will arrange an insured package overnight at No Charge to arrive at your home address or work address only.

Custom pieces typically begin at $5,000. This reflects the time, expertise, and care involved in sourcing the right stone and bringing your vision to life. I do occasionally make exceptions for returning clients and referrals, as I always try to support those who have trusted me along the way.
Yes. Custom design is a collaborative and time-intensive process, so a $500 non-refundable deposit is required to begin. This deposit isn’t lost — it can be applied toward any piece if you decide to go in a different direction during the design process.
Timing depends on the complexity of the design. Most engagement rings and wedding rings are completed within 3–6 weeks once design is approved. The full timeline, including design communication and revisions, is typically 3–8 weeks.
I personally review every project and focus on proportion, craftsmanship, and the small details that make the ring yours. I will never rush your piece at the expense of quality.
Typically within 48 business hours, though complex or highly detailed concepts may take longer. I will always communicate clearly so you know what to expect.
I usually don’t allow this as this is a bigger risk for Lux Diamonds since the value of stones are worth more than the project in most cases and is usually very sentimental to clients. Therefore I choose not to take that risk at this time.
At this time, I do not offer in-house payment plans. Most clients choose to pay with major credit cards or bank wire transfer.
This situation is very rare, but if something doesn’t feel right, please reach out. I genuinely care about your experience and will always work with you to find the best resolution.
Custom-made pieces are final sale and cannot be refunded.
I offer one complimentary resizing. Simply ship the ring back to me and I’ll take care of the adjustment. If you prefer to resize locally or require additional resizing later, I may reimburse the cost depending on the situation — we’ll determine this case by case.
Yes — all Lux Diamonds jewelry is guaranteed for life against workmanship defects. If damage occurs unrelated to craftsmanship (for example, everyday wear or accidental impact), I’ll work with you to repair or resolve the issue in the best possible way.
Yes. Any custom piece valued at $1,000+ includes a complimentary appraisal for insurance purposes.
