Chargebacks & Lost Packages
LUX Diamonds takes great care in how every piece is packaged, insured, and shipped. Each order is fully insured, carefully documented, and tracked from the moment it leaves our hands. While lost or delayed shipments are extremely rare, the company is prepared and proactive if an issue arises. If a package is delayed or missing, LUX Diamonds follows official carrier timelines and works with their third-party insurance provider to resolve the situation. In many cases, they will remake your piece or provide another solution before a claim is fully processed, because they aim to resolve issues without leaving you waiting in uncertainty. By placing an order, you agree to allow them the opportunity to handle any shipping concerns through the proper claims process.
โ ๏ธ Important: Filing a chargeback while a package is still in transit or under review may be considered fraudulent under U.S. federal law (18 U.S. Code ยง 1343 โ Wire Fraud). LUX Diamonds takes chargebacks seriously and reserves the right to challenge them with full documentation (shipping proof, timestamps, insurance records, and communications). Customers who misuse the chargeback process may be restricted from future purchases.
Recreating or Restocking a Ring
Yes โ LUX Diamonds can recreate their styles. Since every diamond and gemstone is unique, pieces made again may vary slightly, but the overall design will remain true to the original.
Where Jewelry Is Manufactured
Jewelry is crafted both in the United States and internationally, depending on the techniques and specialized craftsmanship required. Every piece is made in solid gold or platinum and is hand-finished with care.
Ethical Making & Sourcing
All LUX Diamonds pieces are ethically made and sourced. Their manufacturing partners are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council, and their diamond suppliers follow the Kimberley Process. The company prioritizes fair labor, responsible sourcing, and mindful production at every stage.

Using Your Own Gemstone or Diamond
LUX Diamonds does not accept customer-provided stones, and they do not melt down existing jewelry to repurpose into new designs.
Selling Settings Without Stones
They do not sell settings separately. Each LUX Diamonds setting is designed and crafted specifically for the stone that will go in it.
Insurance Documentation
Yes โ they partner with BriteCo to provide documentation that you can use to insure your ring, either directly through BriteCo or through your preferred insurance provider.
Physical Store Information
LUX Diamonds does not currently have a physical storefront. They are based in Downtown Chicago, and the goal is to open a physical show-space where they can welcome clients in person.
Business Hours & Contact
Their hours are Monday through Friday, 11 AM to 5 PM EST. The team responds personally to all messages and aims to get back to customers as soon as possible during business hours.
